Novel Impact Crater Discovered by Researchers

As per a new research by the scientists at the Northern Arizona University, a new type of impact crater has been found on Mars. The existence of this impact crater on the mars can be clearly explained by the information obtained from the underground nuclear tests and explosive volcanoes.

Nadine Barlow, a professor of Physics and astronomy at Northern Arizona University, explains the size of the crater by comparing it with that of the ejecta. He said that the crater is covered with a thin outer covering, which extends many times beyond the expected range of ejecta.

Hadfield’s Row with Doctors before His Space Career Started

Recently, Chris Hadfield opened up on how he was kept from space due to a row.

Yes! The well-known former astronaut had got into a controversy with space-program doctors some months before he could become the International Space Station's commander.

He had thus denied tendering to surgery. The fight had come handy to scrubbing the Canadian legend from his now-eminent mission.

Details related to the impasse have been uncovered in a book by the former astronaut. The book could come at shelves on October 29 this year.

Opportunity for Aspirants to Become Astronauts

While these positions are desirable by uncounted people, only a few are actually able to grab the positions of NASA astronauts.

A recent report has unveiled that people aiming to contribute to their nation by becoming astronauts could now snatch an opportunity again. For the same, neither do they need to pass a physical examination, nor do they require having particular skills. Rather, they are wanted to show up with one of its kind ways to show that they have the ability to withstand the tough competition.

A Solar Explosion Slammed into Earth's magnetic field on Late Tuesday Night

A powerful solar explosion crashed into Earth's magnetic field on late Tuesday night. The explosion ramped up the Northern Lights across parts of Canada and the United States.

The sun storm blew up on Monday, sending a huge cloud of charged particles streak into space at very high speeds. The cloud was known as a coronal mass ejection or CME. The cloud hit the magnetic field of Earth at around 10 p. m. on Tuesday.

A video of the sun eruption on Monday has been released by NASA, before closing down for the recent government shutdown.
