CERN launches investigation into fake ‘satanic human sacrifice’ ritual video shot at the facility
After reading this, you might wonder whether such activities take place at a facility known as the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator, also called the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). A video shows a group of researchers at the CERN carrying out a ‘satanic human sacrifice’ ritual.
In the video, the researchers could be seen wearing cloak and gathered in a courtyard around a statue at the facility in Geneva, Switzerland. But CERN officials have termed the video to be completely fake. It has also mentioned that the act is nothing but a work of scientists who took their sense of humor too far.
In the clip, at least eight men can be seen standing in the shadows and then, one man moves into the center of the group. A few minutes, a woman wearing a white dress enters and bows down in front of a stone floor.
The woman then lies down on the ground and the man in the center approaches her with his hands raised above his head. It could be speculated that the man is holding a knife that appears to be put into the woman’s chest before the clip ends all of a sudden.
Now, CERN has started an investigation into the incident. Its video has been circulated online. A CERN spokeswoman has mentioned, “These scenes were filmed on our premises but without official permission or knowledge. CERN does not condone this type of spoof, which can give rise to misunderstandings about the scientific nature of our work”.
CERN’s security process has also come into question. The spokeswoman has cleared that the IDs are checked at the entry to the CERN site irrespective of the fact that whether it is night or day.
